Default Sentences from biological text

Please tell me, are these sentences sounded correct? Thank You!

We have published the results of our studies in The works of Institute of Parasitology and in The atlas of distribution of virus- vector nematodes throughout Russian Federation and CIS.
Having analyzed the test plants of cucumbers, we can say that Penicillium glaucum has a bigger biological activity among other agents.
These studies helped us to estimate the properties of epiphytotic process and compared it with Gregory model.
Bacillus subtilis Al-5, mixture of two Pseudomonas (P.fluorescens and P. aureofasciens), mixture of 2 Bacilli and 4 bacteria, and Narciss biological agent have the best positive action on test-plants.
The excitants of root rot and viral diseases were suppressed by treatment of mixture of two Pseudomonas.

I may be wrong because, as I have said before I'm unfamiliar with the technical content, but I think it makes sense.

I would just offer a couple of other typos:

1. Omit comma after Nematodes
2. has a bigger > shows more
3. compared > to compare
4. test plants: an alternative would be to say "...the test plants (Cucumis sativus, cucumber)..."
5. The scientific names should be put into italics.
