Question the internet as learning resource?

Hello everyone, i am agus satoto from Jakarta Indonesia. currently i am writing a thesis on english teachers' perceptions of the internet as a learning resource. i was trying to see if the internet can indeed be used as an efficient and effective learning resource for English teachers like us, especially the nonnative english teachers living in non-english speaking countries. Do you think the internet can be used to help improve your language proficiency (listening, writing, reading, and speaking)? Do you think the internet can also be useful for your professional development? please post your comments in this forum. thank you very much.

Default Re: the internet as learning resource?

You're going to get a lot of respondent bias from this poll; all of the people on the site, by definition, have access to the internet in one form or another, and few of them would be here if they didn't think that the internet was a useful resource. Also, most will be members, which requires many of the basic skills, so I doubt that many will be saying that it is difficult. As you know, to become a member requires having an email, forms, finding the site, etc, which covers basic navigation skills for an in ternet user.
