    Default Which is correct?

    Hi everyone.. Which one is correct?

    Let there be no barrier between me and nature.

    or

    Let there be no barriers between me and nature.


    How about these? Are they grammatically sound?
    1. When I'm standing next to you, I feel so little, yet, a sense of respect to a life way beyond my years.
    2. Footprints... Be it of an animal or a human, never fail to amaze me.
    3. I thought my cold would become worse due to the rain and getting my pants soaking wet.

    Barrier is also correct in the plural


    When I'm standing next to you, I feel so little, yet, a sense of respect to a life way beyond my years.
    feel is a linking verb and little is SC --ok
    The life way part is not clear to me.

    Footprints... Be it of an animal or a human, never fail to amaze me.
    leave space after footprints, and one more dot:
    footprints .... Be
    I thought my cold would become worse due to the rain and that I got my pants soaking wet.
