    Default during

    Hi,

Is it correct to say "It is the second strike during the month"? (Maybe "in this month?" or "within this month"?)

    Thanks

I would say " It is the second strike this month" though some of the members are very fond of arguing with me. Any ideas?

Yes, I find your variant quite grammatical (though I would probably use Present Perfect there). But I need to make sure that "during the month" is correct as well because my student translated it like this in her written paper and I don't know whether to correct it or not

Yes, but I assume it is correct in BE as well.
