(1)What does the word "time warps" mean in the following paragraph :"It is not only the academics who live in the timewarps. One of the Indian restaurants I went to a few weeks ago is a few minutes from the LSE campus, next to King's college. Imaginatively called "The Indian Restaurant", it is situated above the Indian Club. It is a place that would give an Indian a slight feeling of unreality when he first enters - it looks exactly like one of those restaurants that you find in Mumbai by the dozens, transplanted straight to the heart of London. It has food served in steel vessels, creaky furniture in a room that probably looks exactly as it did 40 years ago, tattered menus and waiters in off-white livery. (2) What is the meaning of "coordinates" in the following sentence: " But the moot questio is - what other verification process will the Ministry adopt? Or is verification of the actual identity of the passport applicant and his/her coordinates not required at all ?

A "time warp" in science fiction is a disruption in the continuum of time. If one goes through a time warp, one could end up in the past or the future. In this use, it means that academics often live as if they were in the past (isolated from recent changes), and this restaurant looks as if nothing had changed in decades.

I don't know what "coordinates" means there. It might refer to the individual's location on the planet (as in longitude and latitude) but it is is odd.
