Default "have been making" vs "was making"

Hi,

1. I have been making them for 2 days but have not finished them yet.
2. I was making them for 2 days but have not finished them yet.

I think 1 is correct. What about 2? 2 is talking about past tense
(I was making them) so the second part of the sentence does
not go quite well with it I think.

3. I have been making them since 2 days ago, but have not finished them yet.

Is this wrong?

Number one is correct. Number 2 &3 are incorrect.
