I posted two sentences: Give our love to your family / give your family our love I asked about the difference between the two sentences and I was told that the first sentence emphasises " our love" and the second sentence emphasises " your family" What´s the difference ? what does the speaker meant by the first and the second sentence ? Thanks

. I don't see that difference. The meanings are the same to me. They are both common closings to letters and long-distance phone calls. .

I would say one is grammatical and the other one is very informal language. "Give our love to your family" is more of a structure oriented one whereas "Give your family our love" doesn't bother too much about structure. However, both imply the same meaning
