| I want to fill in an application form, but I have a problem. In “personal detail” part there is Current Nationality: and in front of it Acquired by:. What should I write for Acquired by . I don’t understand it. Thanks. |

| "Acquired by" is asking how you became a citizen of your country. Were you born there? Were you born elsewhere and later became naturalized? For example, if you are a natural-born citizen, you would fill in the blank by "Acquired by" with the word "birth." |
