this is easy...question :today is thursday, so wednesday is yesterday and how 'bout tuesday? what do we say?the other day or the day before yesterday?which is correct? and if both are correct, which is more common?

"The day before yesterday" is the most common way to say that in American English. By the way, the names of the days of the week are always capitalized in English.
