    The correct answer should be C. An adverb of taxonomic closeness is required. Intrinsically has to do with basic nature, and may be applicable here, depending on the rest of the text from which this sentence was taken.

    Sorry, I can't find a connection between any of the definitions of immanent and the relationship between cats and lions. I like A. (intrinsically) in that sentence.
