Arrow anyone has readng context for "Past Perfect n Simple Past connectd wth after/before"?

Hi, I urgently need a reading context to for my presentation in a private school, Could you please send me if you have any reading text which includes connecting Past Perfect and Simple Past using after / before connectors. I'll be very glad if you can help me. Thanks a lot!
