ı have learnt that there is a man called Whorf, who provided us with the "whorfian theory". ın this theory he says that culture and language are interlinked, denying Saphire's claim that 'language determines culture in most aspects'. Whorf is a bit more smooth and flexible in his explanation of the relationship.
To me culture is the determiner of the language. And this is directly related to the environmantal properties of the region (geography, life styles, beliefs etc.)That is nature!
Therefore I say culture determines the language change.
