Re: English for advertisement
Language, epecially English are functioning an important part in Advertising. My desire is doing a researching thesis on this field. I am collecting and researching all the materials about using language in advertising. To be a student of English; however, I do not have enough references to my thesis, so is there anyone of you can help me in collecting the relevant information on my thesis " English in Advertising" Using language in advertisement is not very easy and possibly causing some misunderstandings. I'm getting trouble in building the outline ( more exact: the theory part of my thesis). How can I start my research correctly in the right direction and the way to develope it . Will you ???
Thank you so much!

Hi Trunglee,
It's an interesting topic and there is a lot out there on the internet.
I looked around and found a few sites for you that I hope you will find useful.
OK. the first one deals with basic techniques most advertisers use...little tricks of the trade, so to speak.

The next site is called "The Language of Advertising" and you will also find many useful tips and explanations of how English language relates to advertising.

I will look into it tomorrow as well but right now I have a few people at home lined up to use the computer so I'd better finish now.
Hope this helps a little
