Default Which is correct?

Hi! ^^

I would appreciate it if you let me know which is correct grammatically?
1. The problem took me 2 hours to solve.
2. It took me 2 hours to solve the problem.

The sentences like No. I are often found in books but I have thought No. 2
is correct and No.1 is wrong. Am I right?

Default Re: Which is correct?

They're both fine. The form used i the second is the one that is most commonly taught to language learners, but the first is fine.
