For your information,the second sentence refers to a situation whereby this player is still playing squash.
1. Both are correct grammatically if "in any way" is moved as stated.
2. These two questions are different. The first one expects an yes or no answer, but the second question asks what benefits the playing is getting.
(Maybe the questioner wants the player to stop playing squash.)
