    Arrow ABOUT x OF

    Hello Folks,

I never know when I have to use "about" or "of" in a sentence.

Is there any tip to understand these differences?

    Cheers!

    1) Did you hear about/of the accident?
    2) I wouldn't dream about/of speaking to hear like that.
    3) I'd like to hear something positive about/of you.

    and so on...

I can't see any difference in meaning between about and of!

When do I have to use them?

    1. is OK in both of or about.
    2. is also Ok in both
    3. about is better

When you are speaking directly to someone your choice is limited.
