What did you make of the lecture?

Is a question that someone asks of another who attended the same lecture, or perhaps is attending a future lecture conducted by the same person, or someone who has attended a previous lecture by the same person, to find out what they thought of the quality or presentation of the lecture.

    Hi,
It's a very common phrase on BBC World TV.
The pumpline scandal is escalating - what do you make of it?
    = What's your opinion?
    = Please comment on it.
    Regards
