    Default Correct sentence

    Dear Teacher

    Jenny was surprised to see the decayed tooth that the dentist showed her. She did not feel any pain during the extraction.

    Since that day, Jenny is no longer afraid of seeing a dentist    .

    Are the above sentences correct? Can they be improved in any way?

    Tdol is right. It`s present perfect .[ not past perfect]

    Jenny has no longer been afraid of seeing a dentist since that day.- it refers to an indefinite event which has an obvious result in the present.[she is no longer afraid]

    Because the extraction took place before she saw the tooth.
