wish, resolution
a) What are the differences between :
- My wish for the year of 2007 are...
- My resolution for the year of 2007 are...
b) Should I use 'are' or 'is' behind wish and resolution in the above
sentences?
Thanks

Re: wish, resolution
wish = something you would like to see happen
resolution = something you will try to do
It should be 'is' as both are singular there, but they both have plurals- wishes/resolutions.
