some other examples:
I feel disappointed [because I've tried many times {but I still failed}]. (coordinate clause inside subordinate clause)

I've never met a specific prescription about the number of levels of nesting that are acceptable - although for practical reasons it's a good idea not to use too many - the more you use, the harder your sentence is to parse, and this hampers communication.
There's a nursery rhyme called The House that Jack Built that demonstrates how far you can go with nested clauses: "This is the house that Jack built...," by Mother Goose
