hi,
Situation:
My company got cheque from Great Britain taxman, but company name is incorrect on this, so need to write letter to explain, and to ask to send new one back.

How to write?

Dear Sir or Madam,

We received your cheque for 201 puond. But on this cheque our company name isnt correct, have to be AUTARE not Utare. Our bank in Lithuania doesnt eccept it. can you send me new cheque.

Faithfully .....



I know its horrible, but can you help me? for its very difficult

We received your cheque for 201 pounds. But the name of our company isn't written correctly on it. It has to be AUTARE, not UTARE. Our bank in Lithuania doesn't accept it. Will you send a new cheque?

But, Do i need to write will you send a new cheque if i already spoke with some inspector from UK and he told me just to write letter and to explain situation just Why I need no cheque?

If you don't want a new cheque you needn't write.
