Dear all,

please help me to check this sentence for correctness.

"Specifications of all the necessary testing activities to be performed and deliverables as a consequence of the testing efforts are presented in this section"

this sentence is to be put in a document template. at this particular section, it tells the writer to describe the testing activities to verify the system design and results produced. hope is clear...

What do you mean by deliverables in the sentence in question?

deliverables refer to anything that will be produced after the testing such as differents types of documents, test results, etc...
what you think of the sentence? does it sound right to the explanation? :wink:

I find the sentence very confusing. I think it would read better in the active voice: This section contains....

I would say "specifications for all ....

I don't like the word "deliverables" or the phrase "as a consequence".

I'm not sure how a section can contain something that results from testing. Are you talking about forms, charts, etc.?

What you get from testing is data. You don't get products as a result of tests. Instead, you get ideas for how to manufacture your products. I would rewrite that sentence. Use simpler, easier to understand language.
