| What is the meaning of `got to the office'. (I think: go to the office) Is it right or something else? Could you explain? |

| Got Means reached. As I got the office, the rain started. But it cannot be "got to the office" |

| When she got to the office means when she arrived at the office and is correct. As I got to the office is correct as it means As I arrived or reached the office. As I got the office means As I received the office which woould be expressed as when I took over the rent of the office or bought the office or was given the office. The rent was increased 100 percent as soon as I got the office. |

| Yes, 'get the office' means something. But not even I would assume that someone would wait until they came into possession of an office before sending a fax (and I think up some pretty extreme contexts, I know. b |

Could you repeat above your statement in some other way so that I could understand? |

| I was referring to the context of the original question - 'She noted down my fax number so that she could send me the documents when she got to the office.' b ps I was saying that is unlikely that anyone would wait until they owned an office before sending a fax.
