This following sentence is just an example sentence for "puzzle".
So it doesn't have a context.
It goes:
"The spell of well-being which our civilization was enjoying at the time dazzled our grandfathers into the dogmatic notion."
Can anybody tell me what it's saying?
Well I can tell you in Dutch, but I have no idea how to explain in English
Not really, not without knowing what the dogmatic notion was.![]()
What Tdol said.
The sentence refers to something else (dogmatic notion) which is presumably in another sentence, and we cannot know what that means without seeing the other sentence.

I have also two questions:
How do I get more smilies at this Reply?
and
How do I get that pink notion of:
....... wrote:
and than a pink block and the stuff that that person wrote.
Every time you click on a smilie you get another one. If you click on "View more Emoticons" you get more choices. I am not sure what a "pink notion" is. Would you might elaborating on that? If you provide more context I might be able to answer your other question.Originally Posted by sanny
