I've seen the term used to refer to English for specific professional purposes.

Thank you, Tdol! I thought it might mean that, because of the context, but I wanted to make sure, and I could not find it in any dictionary.

It's not a term I have seen widely used- I see ESP (English for Special Purposes) or EPP (English for Professional Purposes) more.
