Could you please tell me how you would rephrase this sentence, using the possessive case (where possible)?
"One knowledge of the world is perhaps sufficient to catch the main message".
I saw the sentence in my son's English book and I got a bit confused!
Could you help me so I can help him?

I think that it"s missing an apostrophe and an 's'.
Maybe it should be read; One's knowledge of ...

Hi!Thanks for the answer. I thought that if you had to replace an "of the" expression,using the possessive case the sentence would become:
" One world's knowledge is perhaps sufficient to catch the main message". In this case, the meaning is slightly different from: "One's knowledge of the world is perhaps sufficient to catch the main message", isn't it? I think in the first sentence one world's knowledge, means "one knowledge of the world", and in the second sentence "one's world knowledge" means " the world knowledge of (some)one". Could you please answer back? I just hope I'm not being too boring or demanding with my doubts!!
