Its an ill wind that blows nobody any good.


What I understood is :

Its a bad wind which does nothing good to anybody.

But already someone explained me in this forum:

it means (someone profits by ill wind). here (ill wind does good thing)


So, I am confused.

Could anyone explain it?

It means that unexpected misfortune for one person (or group) usually means good fortune for another.
