What is the comparative form of "lonely"? more lonely or lonelier?
    Thanks

    Hi,
I think, lonelier. But more lonely doesn't rate on my ear either... Maybe both are OK?

Two-syllable adjective often have two forms, and in this case you will hear both being used.
