A curriculum vitae (singular), meaning "course of one's life, is a document that gives much more detail than does a resume about your academic and professional accomplishments.

A quick note in case you haven't already guessed, Ju: Resume is a noun, with three syllables, not the verb with two syllables (meaning 'take up again after a break') that you may have met elsewhere:
I went to school at SomeSchool until 1985, spent a year travelling the world, and then resumed my studies at the University of Somewhere.

In BE, usually people say 'CV' (unless they're applying to a multi-national or foreign-owned company, when they slip into using the more internationally recognized 'resume').
