Are these sentences correct:
1-They arranged that he get the worst position in the office.
2-They arranged for him to get the worst position in the office.
(I wonder whether one may use "for" here since it is not good for him to get the worst position).

# 2 is correct, and I'd always use for in this context.

Number 1 would work if you phrased it like this:
They arranged it so that he got the worst job... :lol:
