Proper noun with "the"

Thank you for your reference and further information on "Station" vs "station."
Well, I understood that Tokyo Station must be "Tokyo Station" and Shibuya Station must be "Shibuya Station" since they are always considered to be proper nouns.

However, as for signals, such as ABC, DEF, and GHI, unless they are considered to be proper nouns with the word "Signal" (of course, "ABC," "DEF," and "GHI are proper nouns though) I can say "the ABC signal," "the DEF signal," and "the GHI signal." (Means the word "signal" is not considered to be part of a proper noun.) Is it correct? In other words, if the signals are written as "ABC Signal," "DEF Signal," and "GHI Signal," the whole part (e.g. ABC Signal) is considered and treated as a proper noun. Is it right?

Correct. "the ABC signal" is possible without capitalizing signal. By the way, there isn't a rule in English that says the has to modify a proper noun.
