Default Single spoke or a sub-header spoke

How can you narrow your topic to a single spoke or to a sub-header of a spoke on the map? How does this type of prewriting prepare you for outlining?

Take a look at the top of the "Ask a Teacher" thread. You'll see a sticky there clearly marked "single spoke" whatever that will answer all your questions.
