Confusion
Hello,
Can I say 'There had been a little confusion with my job applicaton' or 'I had been confused with my job applicaton'
I forgot to enter some details and the employers emailed me asking for them. Can I use any of the senteces above?

An apology along the lines of "I am sorry to have omitted the attached details in my original application. This was an oversight on my part." should be adequate.
