If a stick is standing vertically staright, it is called standing upright with 90 degrees with respect to the ground, right? And, the upside down is the reverse of the upright which is 180 degrees rotated from the original position. Am I right? How about if the stick is turned 90 degrees from an upright position?
If the stick is turned 90° from an upright position it will be in a horizontal position.
Thank you. But, I'm asking for another term for a horizontal position. Like the vertical position, it is called upright. Is there?
in a level/lying position, plane, flat....
You're welcome!
