layout of a formal letter

is it wrong to address the editor of the newspaper as respected sir?is it not correct to write yours sincerely on the right hand side of the letter.please help me

I have addressed one of your concerns in your other post, Priyanka. 'Yours sincerely' now normally appears at the left margin-- in fact, most business letters are completely left-aligned.
