Abstract nouns are the names of ideas, conditions, qualities, attributes. How can I tell the difference between ab attribute and an idea?
An attribute is something about someone or something. Talent is an attribute. An idea is a thought, notion, or concept. I might think it is a good idea to see a movie this afternoon. My thought that MNY or Tdol is better at grammar than I am is an idea.

Abstract nouns that are in the area of concepts/ideas would be freedom, liberty, justice, equality, art, etc.
Qualities would be strength, beauty, poise, stamina, etc.
Conditions would be sanity, poverty, health, etc.
