Present usage of "will"?

Hi all,

I keep hearing "will" (or better, "won't") being used in present meaning, or so I think. Let me explain it with an example:

(A man wakes up on a mountain and tries to walk to figure out where he is, but as soon as he tries, he falls down and says: )

-My legs, they won't move!

I searched for information about it on the site, but to no avail. Your helps will be appreciated.

-simple futurity: They will appear later.
-likelihood or certainty: You will regret this.
-willingness: Will you help me with this package
-requirement or command: You will report to me afterward.
-intention: I will too if I feel like it.
-customary or habitual action: People will talk.
-capacity or ability: This metal will not crack under heavy pressure.
-probability or expectation: That will be the messenger ringing.
