which one is correct I thought chocolate is uncountable I gave her chocolate on Valentine's Day I gave her chocolates on Valentine's Day
Either is grammatically correct, but chocolate could mean a box of chocolate/a bar of chocolate, whereas chocolates would generally be taken to mean a box of chocolates.
