A quick question, possibly very silly but I'm not sure.
I sometimes get stumped when trying to write a description of a place (e.g. a hotel, a restaurant). I get to the point when I should include a few advertising sentences and...
Do we say, for example, "This is an ideal/a perfect place (venue) for a business lunch" or "This is the ideal/the perfect place (venue) for..."?
I've tried searching Google and every time it comes up with both versions.
Which one is correct? Are they both?
If anything, in a promotional brochure or advertisement I would use "the" in order to emphasize the desirability of the venue. Puts the venue above its competitors. "A" is softer, merely saying this is one of (possibly) many suitable venues.
