bull terrier
I found in dictionary that :
bull terrier --- a cross breed of a bull-dog, known for its determination, and terrier, known for its hunting skill.
I searched in dictionary but really it is not going inside my mind.
So, Could you tell me?
What is `cross breed' means?'
Also, what is `terrier'?

Here's a humorous picture of a bird dog (1st photo on your left) - a cross between a bird and a dog. Such an animal doesn't exist by the way.

A terrier is a small dog bred to go underground or work closely to the ground when hunting. They are usually quick and aggressive.
Another term for "crossbreed" is "mongrel". Depends on whether the breeder intends the crossbreeding or not.
