When a question asks:

What colours should you wear if you want to be noticeable?

SHould we answer:

I should wear... OR

You should wear...

If 'you' is in reference to the 2nd person singular pronoun, me, then I'd answer, "I should/would wear....". If 'you' is in reference to the 2rd person plural pronoun, people in general, then I'd answer, "You should wear...."
