Default word forms

I am not sure what a word form of a word would be. For example: If the word was "correct" would a word form of that word be "corrected" or something like "true" or "true statement".

No, it would be the grammatical category the word fell into. In this case, there are some possibilities:

correct (verb- I correct work every day), (adjective- it's correct)
