need your explanation!
Hello teachers and experts,
I deadly need your expertise. Please enlighten me the following two sentences.
#1 After arriving at home, I did't feel like eating my dinner.
#2 After having arrived at home, I didn't feel like eating my dinner.
So could you please point out the difference between them.
Thanks a lot in advance.
No difference, but say After arriving home.
I'd also suggest saying "Having arrived at home..." ;-)
I'd say 'Having arrived home' ;-)
Like Tdol, I'd drop the at.
I'd accept both either way.
