you know , in persian poetry , we have a figure ,some technic that poet asks some questions in their poem and pretend to want to know its answer but the question is so evident that needs no answer. in persian we call that " a wise pretendig to be a fool" . is it the same? for translation purposes?

It might also be translated as a "rhetorical question", in some contexts.

For me, "a faux-naïf question" presents more of a sense of trickery than "a disingenuous question": anglicised French in a phrase often implies "sophistication".

(You might also say that the disingenuousness in the question is reflected in the wording of the description of the question: one camouflage echoes another.)
