| Some children found a penny. The date of it was 1902 and the head on the other side is of Edward VII. It was rare but still new-looking. A question asks like this: Why was the penny valuable? Is it correct to answer it like this: It was a rare penny and it was of Edward VII. Please advise, teachers! Thankssss soooo much. |

| Your answer is sufficient. I would say that the penny was (or is) prized because of its rarity. Or that it was (or is) considered valuable because of its rarity. Or because it was (is) rare. :) |
