i have a problem and that is i was born speaking different languages but when i came to united state for fuether studies, i have a problem with communicating with people because of my accent they always say they cannot understand what i am speaking about.pleae help how i can improve my accent.

this is the exact problem my sister had when she left Iran.
she bought an mp3player and recorded english interviews on it and english speaches and sometimes talkshows on it , qand had it with her all the time.
it helped her alot
