    Sorry I have to stop my writing for a while, because somebody is knocking at the door. I ....... (go) and answer it.??????

    Sorry, Matt. I missed the first one. Here it is:

    [1] have not written

    As for the last one, "I enclosed", the reason it's incorrect is this. You're writing the letter now, in the present, so use the present: present continuous or present perfect. The present simple "I enclose" also works, but it's not as common as the other two verb choices.

    By the way, the phrase a lot is two words. You can put another word between 'a' and 'lot': a whole lot.
