the one i have wrong is it quotation marks

is there any way you can help me on some history homework...its hard!!!

Hierarchical- The organizations of persons ot church officials arranged one above the other according to rank, class, or grade
Adjudication--Decision of a judge or court
Bureaucracy-- A system of government by groups or officials
Naturalization-- Admitting a foreigner to citizenship
Papacy--Government by a Pope; position, rank or authority of a Pope
Invest-- To give power, right or authority
Party Whip-- Assists pary leaders
Autocracry-- the type of government in which one person holds supreme power
Speaker Of the House-- Preside over the House Of Representatives
Gubenatorial-- Having to do with a governor; of a governor
Anarchy-- The absence of a systwm of government and law
Tribunal-- A court of justice
Amendment-- A change, modification or addition
Prohibition-- To forbid the practice of making,selling or using
Inauguration-- The act or ceremony of installing a president into office
Colonization-- The establishment of a colony or colonies

Pardon-- The legal document ot aciton setting a person free from punishment
Legislative-- Having to do with making laws
Veto-- The right or power of a President of Governor to reject bills passed by a lawmaking body
Cold War-- The contest for world leadershop that began after Word War 2 between the communist nations and the nations of the west
Filibuster-- The act or process of deliberately hindering the passage of a bill in the legislature by long speeches or other means of delay
Desegregation-- Theh elimination of the ptactice of providing separate schools and other public facilities for racial groups
Inflation--A sharp and sudden rise in prices resulting from an excessive expansion in paper money or bank credit
Judicial-- Having to do with courts or the administration of justice

Committee Chairman- I would say that he/she is in charge of the proceedings of a committee
President protempore- A senator who presides over the Senate in the absence of the Vice-President
suppresses all opposition and controls many aspects of its citizens - I would suggest it controls ALL aspects of its citizens' lives.
