Here the word 'by' is used can the statement written like :
His career has been blighted with injuries.
Are both these sentences correct?
As a British English speaker, I wouldn't use 'with'. I searched the British National Corpus and couldn't find any examples of 'blighted with'. However, I can see how it could be used; it doesn't strike me as an error. Do people in India use 'blighted with'?
