IMHO it's better to treat food as uncountable.

The following are copular sentences. That means, the main verb is a form of the verb BE (is, am, was, and so on). With copular sentences, the word before the verb and the word after the verb have to agree in number. So, for example,

1a. My favorite foods is pizza.
=> 'foods' is plural and 'pizza' is singular. They don't agree.

1b. My favorite food is pizza.
'food' is singular and 'pizza' is singular. They agree.

1c. My favorite foods are pizza and hot dogs.
'foods' is plural. It refers to two items: singular 'pizza' and plural 'hot dogs'

Below, 'the best of all' doesn't need added 'foods' or 'food':

2a. I like pizza the best of all foods.
2b. I like pizza the best of all.
2c. I like pizza the best of all food.
